  1. So beautiful, Amy ... this feels to me like a window into another world, an eye opening to new possibilities, new wholeness. I'm reminded of yin and yang. And there's something about the intensity of contrast and the sparkling detail (in spite of the lovely Holga softness) - and maybe the stillness of the reflections, too - that reminds me of this photo:

Thank you so much Jacki...I have been working on this for weeks now, and blown through many sheets of photo paper...I still am getting a slight burn line where the trees meet the sky...I've gotten the rest of the print the way I want it...so I'm not done yet, but I'm pretty proud of this one. I can absolutely see where you would be reminded of the Ansel Adams photograph...for me it's the stillness of the reflection in the water.
