All the elements seem to have successfully carved out their own space that, despite the happenstance of the technique used here, all work so well with one another. I'm particularly fond of the highlights on the reeds against the dark trees.
Many thanks, Jim. I had the same reaction re: the highlights. I pondered either enhancing them by dodging or by bleaching the print, but a friend of mine suggested I leave them as is. Still might be worth experimenting with.
